I build software for industries where mistakes are expensive. I’m a geoscientist and software engineer, and I run Tareony, a studio building operational systems for healthcare, finance, and energy. Before Tareony, I spent years analyzing marine geological data and managing complex IT infrastructure.

At Tareony I built Protexa for HIPAA compliance in home health, Kletraq for fintech compliance across jurisdictions, and SubsurfaceOS, a deal screen for oil and gas acquisitions. Most of my time goes into spatial data, regulatory tech, and software architecture: different angles on the same problem. I write about how these industries actually work in my essays.

I studied geoscience and software engineering across Nigeria, Germany, and the US. Geoscience taught me to make decisions from incomplete data. Software engineering gives me the tools to build systems that meet the same standard: every claim traced to its source, nothing guessed. I explore that intersection in the four books I’ve published.

On my own time, I map complex systems in public, from a knowledge graph of Nigeria’s government to a spatial clustering tool that sites data centers against national grid capacity. See the rest of my work.
